Christmas Traditions

Last year we started a new family Christmas tradition that the kids really love. One night during December we make reindeer sandwiches and Christmas trees for dinner…last night was the night that we did this.
We also watched the original Rudolph the red nosed reindeer show…the kids had a blast!

Fun @ the Patch

Well this year we tried out a different pumpkin patch...there were things that we enjoyed and things that we missed about our "ol faithful patch" but we wanted to try something new and we are glad we did!

This year we had Aurora (Sleeping Beauty...with blond hair, the black power ranger and a little sweet clown that doesn't hold still for pictures!

Today we are headed to the pumpkin patch!

Each year we look forward to our annual trip to the pumpkin patch...this year we have decided to try a new one! It looks like a lot of fun! I will update with photos when we get home! :)

Well...this family blog...

Is really not getting the attention it needs :) RLOL....Everyone needs to give Chad a hard time :)

Ok...so let's play catch up shall we :)

The kids are all back in school....doing well and I and Gavin are getting adjusted to not having them around all the time. We spend a lot of our time helping the schools...mainly Jackson's school...doing busy work for the teachers that Gavin and I can do without interrupting the class.

I am "Room Mom" again of course, have a battle of the books team, member of the school association, copy cats (we make copies for the teachers) and so far that is about it :) I love doing things at the school...I can peek in on Jackson and I have a reason to be there so he can't say I am spying ....RLOL!

Jackson started Cub Scouts and is loving it! It looks like I get to sew his badges on his shirt...this should be interesting....I have a week to get it done...think I can swing it?

Ashlee is busy with dance and is really getting into the groove of all of her other activities! She is really getting older all of a sudden and a lot more independent.

Gavin...is the baby...forever baby...poor boy! and we love spending time together, just us! But he is getting more independent himself. He is talking up a storm...and has the deepest little voice! Did I mention he is just way to cute?

This last weekend we took the kids bowling and they had a great time! Esp. Gavin...he just loved it! Both Chad and I were totally worn out by the end of the game...but we had a blast!

I think this weekend we will take the kids to Anderson Farms and do the whole pumpkin patch thing :)
